PMKKKY Money Usage Protocol

Under this protocol, 60% of DMF money has to be used for ‘major priority sectors’, and the rest 40% for other priority sectors:

High Priority Sectors: It undergoes activities like clean water supply, measures to be taken for environment. It also works by taking care of health of elderly people and handicapped individuals.

Low Priority areas: It aims focusing improvement on physical infrastructure. It includes Watersheds, Energy, and Irrigation. It may take any other action to improve the living conditions of mining area.

  • The program aims of 60% of the cash to go into the high-priority sectors like skill development, education, health care, sanitation, drinking water, etc. The other 40% will go towards building infrastructure, irrigation, and electricity.
  • As of now, a fund of Rs 5,529 crore of the 22,859 crore is utilized
